A. Affirmative:
We keep the verb in the infinitive form after (I, you, we, they or a name)
In the 3rd person Singular (he, she, it - or a name) we
1- normally add an -s to the end of the infinitive.
Ex: travel >travels, give > gives, play >plays
2- if the verb end with: s, ss, sh, ch, x, and o, add an es –
Ex: wash > washes, mix > mixes, go >goes
3- if the verb ends with "Y" after a consonant ), change the "Y" to "i" and add es.
Ex: study > studies, fly > flies
B. Negative :
If the verb is ALONE in the affirmative form,
1- we put don't or doesn't before the main verb
2- we put the verb in infinitive
Ex: I/we/you/they do not (don't)play football.
He/she/it does not (doesn't)play football.
C: Questions:
